Winter Park Resort Parking

This is one of the few resorts in Colorado where there is still free slopeside parking for skiers and riders. The best parking lots cost money at virtually all of the others major ski areas. You might still be far from the village if you park in the free Mary Jane lots here, but you can walk right onto the slopes and ski right down to your car.

Free Parking Slopeside at Mary Jane

The Utah Junction parking lot is seen below. Parking here is still free, and you can step right onto the slopes from this parking lot. Corona Siding and Rollins Pass are located farther up the hill. Corona Siding can also be accessed directly from the slopes via short trails on the uphill and downhill side. The Rollins Pass parking lot can be used if that one is full. That lot is located just on the other side of the road.

Free Parking at North Bench Parking Lot

This free parking lot is located closer to the main base area. Guests can hike to the slopes from here. The walk is less than 5 minutes, but if you are the last one here and parked at the far end of the lot, you can expect it to take a solid five or more.

Vintage Parking Lot - Paid

Ride the cabriolet gondola into the village from here. The gondola ride + walk will take about 10 minutes, so there isn’t a huge advantage to parking here vs the free Bench Lot.

Village Parking Garage - Paid

Expect to pay about 2x the price if you want to park here. You will still have a brief walk through the village in order to get to the slopes if you park in the Village Garage. In order to get to this lot, turn onto Nystrom Lane, head through the gates, and drive past the village cabriolet gondola station. The garage will be on your right, just pass the gondola.

The Moffat Lot

The Moffat Lot is Winter Park’s handicapped parking lot. This is the closest lot to the gondola. Additional handicapped parking is located within the village at the gondola bus circle, and next to the train station.

B Lot and C Lot - Paid

You’ll be hiking from here, and it’s no short hike. We do not suggest using these lots other than as a last resort when all of the other lots are full.

Free Bus Transit Lots

This includes the G Lot, Blue Spruce, and bus barn lots. The G Lot is serviced by the free town shuttle all winter. The other lots, including Bus Barn and Blue Spruce lots are only serviced on weekends and holidays.

There is also a shuttle that hits all of the Mary Jane lots to take people to the main base area.
