Howelsen Hill Lift Tickets

Howelsen Hill, North America’s oldest operating ski area, is known for its natural ski jumping complex, and fame as a training ground for successful skiers over the last century. Owned by the City of Steamboat Springs, this small ski area is a community-favorite and it draws skiers from around the world who want to experience alpine, Nordic, and freestyle skiing. The lift ticket prices are affordable, costing less than $50 for adults.

Lift tickets are not available for purchase online – they can only be purchased at the lift ticket office or by contacting Howelsen Hill by phone/email. Ticket prices here start at $34 for the kids. Prices below have been updated for the ’23-’24 ski season.

Ski Free Sundays – Every Sunday, Howelsen Hill offers free lift tickets to anyone – just visit the ticket office to pick up your free ticket.  No reservations required!

Family Season Pass – This pass covers up to two adults and all children under 18 in the family for one set price.
