Comments & Discussion
The album that this photo was taken from contained photos that were largely from Picher, Oklahoma. The photos were also developed in Picher. While the most common visitors to Colorado now are from New York and other far away states, travel was different in 1932. The majority of visitors came from the states immediately surrounding Colorado, because that is who could easily drive here on vacation.
Condition, Aging, Authenticity – A small amount of browning is visible along the edges on the front, especially on the top edge. The bottom 2 corners on the front both have dirt/grime smudge marks. There is no cracking or spidering visible on the front’s surface, and the photo still has a nice reflective layer.
Material from the album that this was once mounted in is visible on the back in all 4 corners. There is browning on the back along the edges and the areas near the edges.
