Comments & Discussion
US Highway 24 can be seen passing to the left of the sign in this photo. This sign was erected by the US Forest Service. The sign for the Ski Cooper ski area can be seen in the background, along with a sign for the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center & Cookhouse, and another for the San Isabel National Forest.
The area where this sign sits is also occupied by a memorial for the 10th Mountain Division.
This photo was taken while on a trip to document Camp Hale, the former home and training base for the 10th Mountain Division and others during WWII.
