Comments & Discussion
This is a non-branded slide with a rare 27mm square shape. It is tinted with an extreme red hue as it sits in the archive. This has been digitally corrected for the published version on this page.
The location of the sign at this point was the same as the present-day sign on Milner Pass. This is located near the Grand Lake entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Condition, Aging & Authenticity: The slide has mild and relatively even brown discoloration as a result of aging. The discoloration is stronger near the edges, and very similar to the other two slide images that were captured around the same time as this one.
