Comments & Discussion

This sign was likely gone within 1-2 years after this image was captured. This archive has an image from 1954 that shows the Continental Divide sign & historical marker on the opposite side of the road.

There is no photographer or developer named on this postcard. Only the Eastman Kodak emblem can be seen on the backside. Photos of this sign are far less common than photos of the other signs that were found on this pass in the mid-1950s and later.

Condition, Aging & Authenticity: The surface has some cracking in the top left, and a wave of patterned damage across the right side. There is little/no discoloration to the naked eye.
