Comments & Discussion

The Continental Divide sign sits proudly in the background, having made it now for 5+ years without suffering from the graffiti problems of previous signs. The stone marker attached to this sign was added in 1929 and can still be found at the top of this pass today, although its location has been slightly moved.

The Buick Roadmaster can be identified by the grill and the 4x side portals that are seen on the front quarter panels. This one has a California license plate. This slide was purchased from a lot that showed this same car in multiple photos throughout a road trip to Colorado.

Condition, Aging & Authenticity: The backside has some aging discoloration that is moving a bit beyond “mild”. The front of the mount has some discoloration and bleeding that appears to be due more to the manufacturing/development process.
