The date 6-24-28 can easily be read on both tickets. Normally, a date would be seen stamped on the back of a used ticket, but since that would have been hidden here, the dates were written in pencil in the bottom left.
This is the same style of ticket that was used throughout the 1920s, but earlier tickets had a blue tone or dark yellow tone.

Comments & Discussion
This pair of tickets was acquired directly from Mr. Hunter’s grandson.
The tickets were likely manufactured by Woodward & Tiernan, St. Louis (see #PIK-17281).
Condition, Aging & Authenticity: The material that these are mounted onto is showing some signs of deterioration on the back. The ticket on the right has one major crack down the middle, and a second one to its right. There is lots of aging and wear visible, but the names and dates can still be read fairly easily.
