Comments & Discussion

Earlier photographs of this sign show the ‘tourist register’ wording on the sign, but the smaller sign for the registration box had not yet been added. The large registration box had also not yet been added.

In the background, the area where the Berthoud Pass Ski Area chairlift would eventually be added can be seen.

This photograph and the 5 others that came with it were originally mounted onto 2 album pages. They are seen below in a pair of photos taken by the original owner just after the photos were separated from the mounting material.

Condition, Aging & Authenticity: There is no cracking in the front surface, and no major discoloration. The handwriting for the date shows some signs of fading. The backside has remnants of the album that it was once mounted onto.
