Image Dating Comments
Dating was done by using the handwritten and typed labels on the box. The Berthoud Pass ski footage at the end was likely captured during Christmas break of 1955, or early January 1956. The processing date can be seen inside the box in the photo below.

Comments & Discussion
The opening location is unknown, but the video quickly gets into footage from Bear Lake Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. Next, footage from Estes Park. There is some footage that can be seen at approx. 1:40 where Lake Estes is visible. Next, hunting in Evergreen, CO, followed by a bit of driving into the mountains. Finally, the footage finishes off with some skiing on Berthoud Pass. The Berthoud Pass Lodge can briefly be seen at the end, along with the rope tow and ski slope at the summit of Berthoud Pass.
Condition, Aging & Authenticity: The film has typical quality for the era, with no obvious damage to the film. The film boxes from this lot are all in reasonable shape, but all show obvious signs of age and wear. The house address has been obscured in the photos for this page.
