Aspen Highlands Transportation FAQ

The parking garage here is located right below the transportation drop-off loop at Aspen Highlands. Taking the bus is the most common way to get here, but if you can find parking and don’t mind paying, you can also drive here easily. On the contrary, if you are skiing at Aspen Mountain, there is virtually no parking and you should almost always plan to just take the bus to ski there.

Highway 82 does not usually close for weather. Glenwood Canyon is usually passable in the winter as well, however, Vail Pass and the Eisenhower Tunnel through the Continental Divide can close during large snowstorms.

There is a bus loop just above the parking garage here, not far from the ski lifts.

The bus runs least every 20 minutes during the winter ski season. Expect a 20-minute wait on weekdays, and less on weekends.
