Breckenridge Lodging
Breckenridge is a small ski town, but there is no shortage of ski lodging here. There is an abundance of ski-in/ski-out vacation rentals in Breckenridge, and because the mountain is owned by Vail Resorts, you can also enjoy some of the new luxury ski lodges that they have built near the Peak 7 and Peak 8 base areas.
You can also save money on lodging near Breckenridge by staying away from the bottom of the ski area. Breckenridge is in Summit County, where you will also find the towns of Silverthorne, Dillon, and Frisco. That is where you can find some of the cheaper places to stay, but keep in mind that if you are traveling here for Christmas vacation, the prices for lodging in Summit County will still be relatively high, regardless of where you are staying.
