Buttermilk Ski Lodging
Lodging directly at the bottom of Buttermilk is limited, however, there is no shortage of places to stay in the surrounding area. The Inn at Aspen is the only hotel located at the base of the ski resort. There are vacation rentals available sporadically in the valley surrounding Buttermilk. The most popular places to stay are in Aspen and Snowmass.

The Inn at Aspen
This is the only ski hotel that is located right at the base of Buttermilk. Guests who are staying here can walk directly onto the slopes, and ski right to the back door of this hotel.
Buttermilk Ski Resort Vacation Rentals
You’ll find vacation rentals along the ski trails below the Tiehack Express chairlift at Buttermilk. This neighborhood includes Pfister Dr., Oregon Trail, and S Willow Ct. You can ski down to many of the condos in this neighborhood when there is enough snow.
Nearby Buttermilk Ski Lodging - Aspen, Snowmass, Glenwood Springs
Skiers and snowboarders can stay anywhere in the Roaring Fork Valley and get to Buttermilk easily. It is common for anyone skiing or riding at Buttermilk to stay at a hotel in Aspen, Snowmass, or even up Highway 82 and into Carbondale or Glenwood Springs. The Ritz-Carlton Club at Aspen Highlands is also close by.
The Gant - Aspen
The Gant is one of our top recommended hotels in Aspen. This property has a nice balance of price, amenities, luxury and location. A 10-minute walk to the transportation center, and the free bus ride can take you to the Buttermilk Ski Resort from there.
St. Mortiz Lodge - Aspen
This is one of the cheapest places to stay in Aspen. Nightly rates start as low as $75 and you can book a room during the ski season for a fraction of the price of the high-end luxury Aspen hotels.
The Snowmass Club - Snowmass
A great resort property with great amenities and a great reputation. Guests here have quick access to the golf course during the summer, and Nordic skiing during the winter. The Snowmass Club is located just down the road from the Snowmass Base Area, approximately 10-15 minutes from Buttermilk.
Ritz-Carlton Club - Aspen Highlands
Located right at the base of Aspen Highlands, only a few minutes from the Buttermilk Ski Resort. Expect top-notch amenities here. The Aspen Highlands bus stop is a 2-minute walk away through the base area village, and the free RFTA bus can take you to Buttermilk.
Hotel Glenwood Springs
This is a family-oriented hotel in Glenwood Springs, approximately 45 minutes from Buttermilk. The property is highlighted by the year-round indoor water park.
