Buttermilk Transportation

There is no need to drive your car here if you are staying in the Roaring Fork Valley. The bus system in this area is awesome, and this is how the locals and tourists get between the mountains most of the time. The buses run frequently and they will drop you off closer to the ski lifts than most of the parking lots.

Buttermilk Transportation FAQ

Yes, Buttermilk is located right on the main free Aspen/Snowmass bus route, and there is a bus stop right at the main Buttermilk Ski Resort base area.

The Aspen Airport is within eyesight of the ski resort, and many skiers and snowboarders fly right into here. Denver is just as popular because there are more flights into Denver, and it can be easier to book a reservation when you want it.

Most people take the bus here. However, parking at Buttermilk is much easier than other resorts in Colorado, and parking here is also free!
