Copper Mountain Lodging
Almost all of the lodging that you will find here will allow you to easily walk to the ski lifts. If you want to stay someplace away from the mountain, you’ll likely be staying in Dillon or Silverthorne. These towns are not far away, but staying here will require a quick drive down the interstate in order to get to Copper Mountain.
How much does it cost to stay at Copper Mountain? That depends, but with Vail and Breckenridge surrounding this resort, prices for lodging will seem relatively cheap.
There are 3 base areas here where you will find lodging: East Village, Center Village and West Village.

There are very few traditional hotels and inns here. Most of these properties have condominiums which are privately owned and rented out. If you don’t see a link to the official website here, it is usually because there isn’t one.
Cambria Hotel
This hotel has a fitness center and restaurant on-site. The Cambria Hotel is located in Center Village, not exactly slopeside, but less than a 5 minute walk to the American Eagle chairlift.
Tucker Mountain Lodge
This is another lodging property with privately owned condominiums that is located within a 1 minute walk of the chairlifts in Center Village.

The Copper Springs Lodge is located in the East Village at Copper Mountain, within easy walking distance of the Superbee Lift. Condos here are privately owned and rented. Amernities include a sauna, fitnes room, game area and hot tubs.

This property is connected directly to the ski trails at Copper. These are privately owned vacation rentals at the bottom of the mountain in the East Village. Condos can be rented through Expedia and other platforms. The Snowflake Condominiums are right next door.

This property is located in the West village base area, right next to where most of the beginner skiing can be found. It is a 2 minute walk to chairlifts or less. These are small townhomes and there is a community hot tub on this property that is available to owners and guests.

Directly in front of the main slope in Center village, and right at the center of the action. Walk directly out to the American Eagle lift. Property amenities include a small indoor hot tub and sauna.

Located in Frisco, around a 10 minute drive from Copper Mountain. This is a small, affordable ski motel, and staying here can help you save money on your ski lodging.

This is another budget-friendly lodging option just down the highway from Copper Mountain in the town of Frisco, CO. This is a pet-friendly hotel that has amenities that include a fitness center and business center.
The Grand Lodge on Peak 7
This is a top-end ski lodge located slopeside at Breckenridge. You’ll spend most of your time skiing Breckenridge if you stay here. It is about a 20-30 minute drive to Copper Mountain from the Grand Lodge on Peak 7. This ski lodge is highlighted by several large outdoor hot tubs that face the slopes.

There will be more excitement in Center Village, especially during the daytime and early evenings. The outer villages will be quieter. You can also stay in nearby towns like Frisco, Silverthorne, and Dillon.
Try the small inns around Frisco including the Snowshoe Motel.
This is about a 20 minute drive, so it is definitely possible, but very few people actually do this. A big reason is because Vail lift tickets are valid at almost every surrounding resort EXCEPT for Copper Mountain. Travelers will usually save money by skiing at the Vail Resorts during the same trip. You would also have to contend with Vail Pass which can close for bad weather.
