The Enchanted Forest
Start above treeline at the top of the Storm King lift before you descend down into the woods of the Enchanted Forest. The lower woods can also be accessed without taking the Storm King. Just traverse directly below the bottom of the Storm King and look for the trail sign.
The photo below was captured from near the top of the Rendezvous triple chairlift. The Lower Enchanted Forest area can still be accessed from here.
Fresh snow gets blown around a lot by the wind above the tree line here. Once you get into the trees, the powder snow will be more consistent.
This terrain is for experts only. The trees are fairly tight through some of the lower parts, and if the snow is not deep it can be tough to navigate through here.
