Christy Sports has 2 locations at the base of the ski resort, and this company also owns The Alpineer in downtown Crested Butte. Book online through the link on this page and get discounted equipment rentals.
Crested Butte Ski Rental FAQ
The highest performance demo package will cost $50 to $100 in this area. The walk-in cost at Christy Sports is $69, but you can get a deal on this rental package for only $55 by booking online ahead of your vacation. A kids ski package will cost $31 online, and prices for other packages fall somewhere between those price points.
Yes. Crested Butte’s rental shop is located right next to Christy Sports at the base of the mountain, and this is the closest rental location to the ski lifts.

Are you staying in downtown Crested Butte or Mt. Crested Butte? You should consider renting your ski or snowboard equipment from a ski shop close to where you are staying. If you are staying downtown, look for a rental shop there. Same for the base of the resort.
