Kendall Mountain Ski Deals & Info

Kendall Mountain is a super small ski hill located in the town of Silverton, which is also home to the legendary Silverton Mountain, known for it’s heli-skiing. But Kendall is the polar opposite of Silverton Mountain. It offers only 283 ft. of vertical rise, 7 trails and 1 small lift. It’s a nice place for small children to learn how to ski, or for a family of beginners to have some fun for a fraction of the usual cost of skiing.

Yes, the mountain is way too small for advanced skiers. It is more of a hill than a mountain and only offers easy terrain.

Tips for Skiing Kendall

Put in the work to ski from the top of Tram. This trail takes a quick 30-second hike in order to access the top portion. You will see the trail sign and the tracks from others skiers side stepping here as you approach. You can also dip onto this trail while traversing over to Mogul on the skier’s left side of the hill.

Even Kendall has glade skiing in the trees. Traverse below the lift to the skier’s left and you will find some short runs through the trees. It is not considered challenging terrain, but kids that like adventure may have more fun here than on the other trails.
