Purgatory is a family-friendly ski resort, offering a variety of trails that are suitable for all levels. Lift ticket prices are well-priced and affordable for even larger groups. Tickets can be purchased on the official website through a price-comparison calendar or through our partners when deals are available. Prices change based on demand, but Purgatory makes it easy to purchase tickets and passes early on.
Purgatory is part of the Power Pass Resort deal, one of nine resorts nationwide that accepts this pass.

In general, lift ticket prices here are cheap and a great deal compared to other resorts in Colorado. Prices below are example prices and you can expect them to change based on your dates.

The Fun Fund – Book lift tickets on select days in the season and get $20 per day of resort credit.
Free Power Kids Pass – With proof of age, kids 12 and under can shred the slopes for free! Get the pass on the official website.
Variable Flex Tickets – Skiing multiple days in a row can be tiring. With this unique ticket package, you can purchase a multi-day package that includes a flexible rest day. So instead of skiing 3, 4 or 5 days in a row, you can purchase the package of your choice that works in an extra day for resting.
New! My Weekday Pass – Looking for to ski weekdays only? Choose a discounted season pass when you choose to ski anywhere from 1-5 weekdays per week. You have to commit to the same days.
Military discounts – Purgatory offers a discounted season pass for full-time, active duty military members.
Parent Share Pass – Parents of children age 3 and under can enjoy unlimited access under one season pass.
Super Senior Pass – If you’re age 75+, you ski free!

Purgatory Lift Ticket FAQ
There are 11 lifts at Purgatory Resort, leading to 105 trails covering 1,600 acres.
Select purgatory lifts run during the summer, from mid-June to the end of August. In addition to those scenic views, there are other summer activities at the resort, including an alpine slide and more.
Lift tickets and rentals are nonrefundable, with the exception of up to the 48-hour window after your initial purchase. No refunds on day of arrival.
It is not guaranteed that lift tickets purchased on a third-party site like Craigslist are valid. The best way to ensure your tickets are valid are to purchase directly on the official website.
Seasonal Power Passes are valid at nine additional participating locations throughout the USA. Single day tickets, My Weekday Pass, Senior Pass, the shared parent pass, and active military duty pass are not transferable.
Yes, you can have your pass mailed to you. Alternatively, you can pick it up at the ticket office or the downtown store at 2615 Main Avenue in Durango.
