Silverton Mountain Lift Tickets
Silverton is not like any other ski resort in Colorado. This resort offers both guided and unguided skiing. There is only one chairlift here and the majority of the terrain requires hiking. There is also helicopter access here for skiers and snowboarders.
Lift ticket and heliskiing prices for Silverton have been updated for the 2023-2024 ski season on this page. Pay close attention to the dates below. Unguided skiing is not available for much of the season, and “peak season” here refers to the peak snow season, not Christmas vacation and spring break. This is symbolic of the type of mountain that this is.

Guided Skiing Lift Tickets - Groups
Guided skiing in groups is available from December 28th to March 10th. Lift ticket pricing increases during peak season and even more on weekends.
Non-peak season is 12/28/23 to 1/24/24. Peak Season is 1/25/24 to 3/10/24. Friday and Saturday pricing is in effect for the peak season.

Private guided skiing is available throughout the whole season from December to April. This is a great option if you don’t want to ski with a mixed group that might be held back by the lowest-level skiers.

Unguided Skiing Lift Tickets
Unguided skiing at Silverton is not available during the peak snow season. Unguided mountain lift tickets are available from December 28th to January 24th, and again from March 13th to April 14th.

Silverton Heliskiing
Catch a helicopter ride to the best terrain on the mountain. Heliskiing at Silverton is available for the full season as long as the snowpack permits. Heliskiing prices at Silverton start at only $99 for a single run. Heliskiing at Silverton is also available to anyone visiting Telluride. The helicopter can pick you up and drop you off at the Telluride airport.
