Steamboat Lodging
If you haven’t been to Steamboat in a long time, you’ll notice a new gondola and more lodging near the bottom of the mountain now. This is a great ski resort for ski-in/ski-out lodging. Families with kids especially love the access to the resort her, because the main beginner learning slope is located right in front of many of these hotels and condos.
You don’t need to pay top dollar for lodging and stay right at the base of the mountain. Downtown Steamboat Springs is only a few minutes away from the bottom of the resort, and there is plenty of lodging there, including some less expensive options.
