Sunlight Mountain Lodging
There are two primary places to stay at the base of the mountain here: The Sunlight Mountain Inn (private bookings only right now) and the Brettelberg Condominiums. The Sunlight Mountain Inn is a short walk from the slopes and the Brettelberg Condominiums have ski-in & ski-out access.
The majority of the lodging for Sunlight Mountain can be found in Glenwood Springs, about a 25-minute drive away.

This is the only slopeside lodging at Sunlight Mountain. The Brettelberg Condonimiums are located trailside, just above the base area.
Sunlight Mountain Inn
This inn is located just a few steps from the base of the mountain, but right now it is only available for private rentals. Large groups should check here for pricing and availability.
Four Mile Creek B & B
This is a historic homestead property that has 2 log cabins + a classical red barn suite that can be rented. This property is located approx. five Miles from Sunlight Mountain.

Built in 1893, this historic hotel is located in Glenwood Springs and it is notable for its prominence and its fine dining restaurant that is located on the property.
Hotel Glenwood Springs
This pet-friendly (dogs only) hotel has its own indoor water park, and it is located directly next to the Glenwood Gondola which ascends to the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park.

Sunlight Lodging FAQ
You wont find anything else at the base area here. Sunlight is located in Mule Gulch, and there are very few private residences here. A few miles down the road you will start to see more residential properties, with at least a handful available on the major vacation rental sites at any given time.
Glenwood Springs is about 10 minutes closer than Carbondale, and there are more places to stay there.
Try Hotel Glenwood Springs. This hotel has its own water park and it is located right next to the gondola (for summer only).
