Local Shuttles

There are two shuttles from Glenwood Springs to Sunlight Mountain Resort that give skiers and riders easy options to get here.

The main shuttle has several stops at the local hotels and it runs on a set schedule. There is also a secondary shuttle that stops at additional hotels and inns in the Glenwood Springs area, but requests must be made for this shuttle 24 hours in advance. Glenwood Canyon Summer Closures – If you are traveling I-70 Westbound to get to Glenwood Springs on your way to Sunlight Mountain, you will be heading through Glenwood Canyon. Wildfires in Glenwood Canyon have created conditions that allow for more landslides than usual. Glenwood Canyon may close at times, especially after heavy rainfall during the spring and summer months.

Directions from Glenwood Springs

Take 82 south, do a zigzag, then take 117 heading south to the resort.
