Telluride Parking
Telluride is a relatively friendly resort when it comes to skier parking. There are reasonable options for free parking near the mountain, and this is becoming a rarity at Colorado’s top ski resorts. Free parking can be found in Mountain Village in a large parking garage that is located near the free gondola. There is also free parking in the Carhenge Lot, located in downtown Telluride. Paid parking is available if you would like to park closer to the lifts in Mountain Village.
Free Gondola Parking Garage @ Station Village Parking
This is one of the most popular places to park if you are starting your day in Mountain Village. Parking here is free during the day. Overnight parking is allowed for a fee. To get here, just take a quick left turn after you go through the Mountain Village welcome gate. This garage is an ideal spot to access Telluride’s free gondola system.
Above & below: More photos of the free parking garage at Station Village Parking.
You can ski directly from the free garage onto the slopes! The pathway in the photo below will allow you to ski to and from the free gondola parking garage. Double Cabin is the ski trail that goes right passed the garage.
Heritage Garage & Village Center Parking Garages
These parking areas are located in the heart of the village. Once you go through the Mountain Village welcome gate, you can follow the signs ahead to find parking if you don’t want to park in the free gondola garage. The Heritage Parking Garage is located beneath of the Madeline Hotel, near the top of the Chondola.
Downtown Telluride Parking
No skier parking on the streets. Parking on the streets is limited in quantity and also the # of hours that you can park there. The Carhenge Lot is the best place to park in this part of Telluride if you want to hit the slopes. You can walk directly onto the slopes from this parking lot.
The Silverjack Parking Garage is located in Downtown Telluride, about 2 blocks from the bottom of the gondola.
Shandoka Lot
This lot is only for residents and guests staying in the surrounding properties.

Lawson Hill Park & Ride Lot
There are approximately 120 spots in this lot. The Lawson Hill Park & Ride is located on Rt. 145 near the intersection of 145 and 145 Spur Hwy (this is the roundabout where you need to decide if you want to go to Mountain Village or downtown Telluride).
This lot is also a stop for the CDOT Bustang bus route between Grand Junction and Durango. See more info on our Telluride Transportation page.
