Winter Park Transportation

Winter Park is located in the Front Range of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, so getting here from Denver is easier than many of the other CO resorts. However, you will still need to navigate Berthoud Pass as it crosses the Continental Divide. Beyond mountain shuttles and rental cars, Winter Park has a more traditional and much cooler way to get to the ski resort from Denver: TAKE THE TRAIN!

There is a railway line that runs from Union Station in Downtown Denver through the Moffat Tunnel (which goes through the Continental Divide), and right to the base of the ski resort. You’ll get dropped off closer to the mountain than you would even if you parked in the closest parking lot.
